Hero as Warrior

Hi, I'm Morgan! I'm 14 years old, and a Freshman at Horn High School. I love to hang out with friends and meeting new people. Jesus saved my life and I do my best to live for him. I love life and can't wait to see what my future holds!

I'm a Hero as Warrior because I like challenges, they push me to do better and to become stronger, mentally and physically. Balancing activities between work, school, church, family, and just having fun being with friends, are challenges I face daily. I'm a very laid back person and go with the flow, but am strong enough to make my own decisions and stand for my beliefs.

Future Quest

My Future Quest is to figure out what I want to do. I would like to graduate high school, go to college, and get a medical degree to be a nurse. I'm not exactly sure what type of nurse I want to become. Helping to save lives sounds like a productive future for me.

The Mentor

My Mentor is someone who has been there for me everyday of my life, someone that makes me see things in a different view, someone who pushes me to be my best, and won't let me settle for less. This person is wise, and teaches me everyday life lessons. He points me in the right direction and lives a life I look up to. He corrects me lovingly, and forgives kindly. My Mentor is my dad.

Threshold Guardian

My Threshold Guardians are two of my closest friends, McKenzie and Tori. They are people I trust and look up to. They are honest with me. They keep me on the right track and hold me accountable. I know they are always there for me. They give me advice that no one else can, and they understand me when no one else does. I'm very blessed to have McKenzie and Tori as my closest friends!

Shadow

My shadow, is my computer and phone. I'm always texting or on the computer. Although these things keep me from accomplishing a lot, they are very useful. It is easier to keep in touch with family and friends through these devices.

Trickster

My cousin, My best friend. Chais Lindbergh. He always keeps me laughing when were together. We have so much fun in our jokingly cousin ways. We hangout all the time and are very close. My true personality is shown when he is around. We can trust each other with anything, and are always there for each other. He is a great example for me, someone i look up to. Chais is one of the most important people in my life, I don't know what I would do without him.

Loyal Band of Companions

Many people help me get through everyday life. My family and friends mean the absolute most to me! I would be no where without them. Every teenager in high school face some types of struggles. Knowing that these people are always there for me gets me through every situation, and helps me to become a better person. I wouldn't be where I am today without them.

Unheald Wound

Many people come and go throughout a life time. New friends are made, and old ones are lost. Family is the one thing that should stay constant. Correct? Not always. My older brother Seth, is someone very important to me. I've always wanted a close bond with my brother. But that's not the way it is. He has his own life, other friends, and other family. I don't think he knows or realizes how much I love and miss him. I wish things were different. I wish we had a normal brother, sister relationship, but we don't. I see him maybe 4 0r 5 times a year. The thing is he lives not even 10 minutes away from me. He just never seems to have time. The moments I do get to see and spend time with him are the ones I will cherish forever. Maybe someday things will change.

Divine Guidance

Some people think I'm perfect. Other's see straight through me. Most people think my life is easy, and that I have it all together, this is false. I'm weak, I'm nothing. My Savior guides me everyday. I try my best to live for him, and do the right things. I fail often. I wish I could be a better person, I want to do things right, but I'm only human. Sometimes I want to give up, and quit. But knowing that Jesus died for me and my mistakes gives me new hope, and new meaning. After all He's done for me, the least I can do is live for Him.

Change

Since around the time I was four, I wanted a younger brother or sister. I just wanted someone around my age to play with and be able to be very close to. I never really thought my dream would come true until my mom called me one day and told me I would be having a younger sibling. I couldn't wait. Blake was born when I was 12 years old. He is now 2 years old, and has taught me a lot at his young age. Although being older I have a lot more responsibility. I babysit often but I don't mind at all. I enjoy getting to spend time with him, and be there for him when he needs me. Having a younger brother has made me more mature and understand the responsibility of another life. He is a blessing to me and I wouldn't change anything!

Procrastination

One thing I've learned about myself my first year of high school is that I procrastinate a lot. It's something I do in almost everything. It's a characteristic that I need to work on to improve myself. I never do my homework until the day it's due, or never do my chores till the moment I'm about to be grounded. Sometimes I work better under pressure but in the real world it won't be acceptable. I've learned this in time to correct it before I start to live on my own!
